Research tools & workflows

Keep your research moving.
Keep the details in order.

We build and connect the tools around your research: project websites, structured data collection, shared resources and repeatable workflows.

What we can build together

Built around the work.
Ready for the handover.

For research groups, centres and collaborative projects. We turn a clearly defined need into a tool your team can understand and maintain.

Project websites

Give your work a clear public home.

Present project aims, people, publications and resources in a considered website. Give your team a manageable way to publish updates.

Data collection

Capture what the project actually needs.

Design structured forms, validation and exports around your protocol. Agree access, consent requirements and data handling with your research and governance teams.

Collaboration & resources

Keep the team working from the same place.

Organise shared project information, internal documentation and resource requests. Define access for collaborators and make handovers easier.

Workflow automation

Make repeatable work repeatable.

Connect approved tools and automate well-defined preparation, transfer and reporting steps. Document the process so it can be reviewed and run again.

Designed for your institution

A practical tool. A documented handover.

We agree the inputs, outputs, permissions and operating environment before building. Source code, documentation, exports and ongoing support are included in the project scope as agreed, so your group knows how the system works and who looks after it.

A little clarity

Before we begin.

A few practical questions about research. We’ll work through the details with your team.

Can you work with sensitive research data?

We first assess the data classification, approvals and required controls with your institution. Hosting and access must fit that assessment; sensitive data should only enter an approved environment.

Can you take over an existing research tool?

We can review the code, documentation, dependencies and hosting to assess what is needed. We then propose a scoped repair, improvement or maintenance arrangement.

Do you provide scientific analysis?

We focus on software and workflows. Your research team remains responsible for methodology, interpretation and validation of scientific results.

the tools it needs.

Tell us what you’re planning, what’s working and what isn’t. We’ll work out the next step together.
